CEEM Alum honored for 40 Under 40

Department alum Dr. Alejandro Angel was named a Tucson 40 Under 40  recipient by the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Arizona Daily Star. The 40 Under 40 recognizes individuals under the age of 40 who have demonstrated community leadership and potential for future contributions. Alejandro earned his PhD in 2008 and was named a department Outstanding Young Alumni in 2011. Dr. Angel is currently a vice president of Psomas Engineering and leads their transportation, construction management and traffic group in Arizona. Alejandro has taught classes for the department including participating in the multidisciplinary bridge design course.
