CEEM Prepares for 10th Annual Homecoming Celebration
The CEEM department is already hard at work planning our annual homecoming BBQ. Traditionally held in the Civil Engineering courtyard, the BBQ features music from local bands, delicious hamburgers, hot dogs, and bratwursts, and, of course, the alumni, visiting a campus that was once very much their home. This year, CEEM will celebrate 10 years of homecoming tradition and fun. The festivities to commemorate this exciting milestone are already underway, and CEEM hopes to see you all there to celebrate with us. The 10th Annual Homecoming BBQ will be held in the CE Courtyard at 1209 E. 2nd St on Saturday, October 24th, three hours before the kickoff between U of A and Washington State.
Additionally, CEEM is hosting the Centennial Awards Luncheon to commemorate the accomplishments of CEEM faculty and alumni. Awards for Distinguished Alumni, Outstanding Young Alumni, and Centennial Professor will be presented at the luncheon, honoring the most exemplary nominees. Guests will enjoy a delicious lunch hosted by Maynards and Hotel Congress. The Centennial Awards Luncheon will be held at Hotel Congress at 311 E Congress St. on Friday, October 23rd. Registration will begin at 11:15a.m. and the luncheon will begin at 12:00p.m. Tickets for the luncheon are $35.
