CEEM Professor Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award

Dr. Achintya Haldar, Civil Engineering professor at the University of Arizona, was the honored recipient of the Society for Reliability and Safety's Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his work in Structural Reliability. Dr. Haldar holds many impressive achievements to date, including major teaching awards not only at the University of Arizona, but the Georgia Institute of Technology and the Illinois Institute of Technology as well. Additionally, Dr. Haldar has been the recipient of various research awards, including an induction to the Teaching Excellence Award Wall at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
