Sundt Internship Gives CAEM Undergrad Firm Foundation

Undergraduate Andrea Flores interned with Sundt's building group at the UA's Student Success District during the summer of 2019.

“This is my first internship,” said Flores. “It has been an interesting journey and helped me grow as a young engineer. The team has been extremely supportive, and everyone has taught me a lot: how to process submittals, interact with the owner and submit RFIs."

She helped produce a short video about what she learned onsite. 

Indeed, construction is a Flores family affair: Andrea's siblings, Lisette and Luis, are both recent CAEM alumni employed in the industry.
