One of the University of Arizona's oldest symbols celebrated its 100th year in March 2016. Did you know that the iconic block "A" on Sentinel Peak was masterminded by a civil engineering student? Albert Condron, who also played football for the Wildcats, suggested that the site survey and construction be folded into a class assignment.
