Joseph Millick and Wesley Skelley, both undergraduates in the University of Arizona Department of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics, are 2017 recipients of the Bill Lloyd Scholarship from the Arizona Builders Alliance.

The scholarship -- named after Bill Lloyd Sr., founder of Lloyd Construction and 1970 graduate of the UA College of Engineering -- recognizes outstanding UA engineering students pursuing careers in construction. ABA members have raised more than $101,000 for students since the scholarship's inception in 2007.

Millick and Skelley received their award at a special dinner held on Feb. 21 in the Sundt Gallery at the UA College of Architecture Planning and Landscape Architecture. CAPLA interim dean Mary Hardin and Robert Lepore, director of the UA Engineering Management Program, were featured speakers at the event.
