Alumnus Elmore Named ASCE Fellow

Curt Elmore, who earned MS and PhD degrees from the UA department of civil engineering in 1988 and 1991, respectively, was selected by the American Society of Civil Engineers as a 2016 fellow.
Elmore, an expert in the design and study of green and sustainable remediation systems, has served as professor of geological engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology since 2001.
A member of ASCE's Environmental and Water Resources Institute, he co-founded the ASCE Margaret S. Petersen Award for outstanding women in the field of water resources and environmental engineering and founded the EWRI Students Council.
