Distinguished Chapter Award for UA ASCE

The University of Arizona Society of Civil Engineers has received a 2016 Distinguished Chapter Award for Region 8 from the American Society of Civil Engineers. 

The award is presented annually to the most outstanding student organization in the region, based upon engineering components, chapter involvement and impact. The UA chapter was recommended by the Committee on Student Members based on activities recorded in their 2015 annual report. They will receive a plaque recognizing their accomplishments. 

In 2012, the chapter received an ASCE Certificate of Commendation.
