Andisheh Ranjbari, CEEM doctoral student, has been awarded the Parsons Brinckerhoff Jim Lammie Scholarship. The scholarship was awarded by the Directors of the American Public Transportation Foundation (APTF).  Andisheh was ranked 2nd out of all the applicants from states across the nation and was invited to the awards presentation to be held in San Francisco on October 6th. The ceremony, “Celebrating Tomorrow’s Leaders: Leadership APTA & the American Public Transportation Foundation Awards Ceremony,” will honor Andisheh in person with the award. Arizona Transit Association (AzTA) is sponsoring Andisheh’s entire trip to attend the awards ceremony and meet with the APTA board of directors prior to the ceremony. AzTA is exceptionally proud of Andisheh’s achievement as she is the first recipient of this award in the state of Arizona.
